Injury Report

Since injuring my knee a couple of weeks ago, I have been the victum of at least 20 evaluations by family, friends and aquaintances. I have heard torn ACL, MCL, LCL, meniscus, knee cartilage, ect. You name it, someone has diagnosed me with it. Turns out most all of them were right. The MRI confirmed a torn ACL, MCL, LCL and meniscus. On the bright side, I guess I spared the PCL.

I was hoping for little more "dets." Is surgery scheduled? What's your recovery time? Good luck! BTW, thx for your post on "crashology." Darcee and I were riding our road bikes yesterday and she stopped at an intersection and couldn't get her shoe unclipped and biffed it. I tried to explain to the bystander who rushed to her aid that it was a simple Grade 1 crash and that it was only her pride that was injured.

Rang, I am so sorry about your knee. That is such crummy news. At least you don't live in the pre surgery era. Think how bad it would be if it couldn't be fixed. I'm really going to miss our bike rides this summer, but I guess that's a little selfish.
